Please note: The integration can only be configured by someone who has the proper permissions in Moodle, usually a Moodle Administrator. It is best for this person to serve as the point of contact for integration setup.

New integration requests would need to be submitted to our Integrations team. Please have your designated publishing representative connect us with the campus Moodle administrator to initiate the integration process.

Steps:

1) Navigate to 'Site Administration' > 'Plugins' and then scroll down to 'Manage Tools'

2) Select to 'configure a tool manually'

3) Next, on the 'External tool configuration' page, enter the following values:

  • Tool configuration usage - Show as preconfigured tool when adding an external tool

  • Default launch container - New window

    • Please be sure to check box for 'Supports Deep Linking (Content-Item Message)'

  • Expand Privacy section change all values to 'Always'

4) Once you complete and save fields on the External Tool Configuration page, please send us the following values to connect the integration with FlatWorld.

Tool configuration details:

  • Platform ID:

  • Client ID:

  • Deployment ID:

  • Public keyset URL:

  • Access token URL:

  • Authentication request URL:

Please contact the Integration Specialist assigned to your ticketed request, or email support@flatworld.com, with any questions.
