FlatWorld's Audiobook feature is rapidly gaining popularity among students and educators. By enabling learning on the go, students can now study while commuting or exercising, improving their efficiency and making learning more enjoyable. This audio format is particularly valuable for auditory learners who absorb information better through listening, while other students find that combining audio with reading reinforces their understanding and retention. Whether used as a primary learning method or as a complement to traditional reading, the Audiobook feature accommodates different learning styles and preferences. We're excited that this tool is helping keep students engaged with their coursework.
Please note, the Audiobook is not an Accessibility tool. It does not seek to replicate all of the functionality of dedicated screen-reader software. Our FlatWorld Reader fully supports Accessibility. See the settings located here:

Audiobook Controls, Settings and Features:
The primary controls for Audiobook are located on the left side of the screen under settings. They include: Play/Pause, Skip forward 10 seconds, Skip backward 10 seconds, and a progress bar that allows you to jump to different parts of the textbook.
You can access additional options through Settings, located directly above the player. Click on 'Audiobook' to open the Audiobook Settings Menu.
In the Audiobook Settings menu, you have two ways to control the Reading Speed: manually by dragging the slider bar, or by clicking one of the preset speeds below it.
You can also choose whether the book automatically advances to the next page by toggling Auto-Navigate on or off.
You can add another language for the Audiobook feature, as long as other languages are available. If you don't see the language you need, please contact Customer Service through our live chat.

Once you've configured the settings to your desired configuration, click Save Settings and exit out from this screen.
